GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and Supervise the MEAL Unit teams in the Bases;
- Implement the MEAL Units structure, resources and tools and conduct multi-sector assessments, providing sector guidance and capitalizing the lessons learnt;
- Liaise, coordinate and share with other agencies ongoing assessments country-wide;
- Support the roll out of ACF accountability framework and enlarged feedback mechanisms;
- Support the mission in conducting programmatic evaluations and capitalising on ongoing activities
- Support the follow up of the Mission Strategy framework, ensuring standardization of indicators and beneficiary counting
- Support the mission on gender mainstreaming in all departments following the Gender Action Plan
Key activities in your role will include
- Coordinate Action Against Hunger's MEAL Units in the Bases
- Implement the MEAL Unit?s structure and tools and conduct multi-sector assessments, providing sector guidance and capitalizing the lessons learnt
- Strengthen the MEAL culture in the mission through capacity building (intra and inter-department) and exchange with other missions and HQ
- Liaise, coordinate and share with other agencies ongoing assessments country-wide
- Support the roll out of the Accountability framework for the mission
- Support the implementation of evaluations and support the mission in capitalising on its lessons learned
- Support the follow up of the Mission Strategy framework, ensuring standardization of indicators and beneficiary counting
- Support the mission on gender mainstreaming in all departments and projects
Do you meet the profile required criteria ?
- University degree on a field related (WASH, FSL and CBI)
- Extensive experience on project cycle management, research, data gathering and management, quantitative/qualitative analysis and English reporting.
- Experience on humanitarian needs assessments would be an asset.
- Gender mainstreaming related experience
- At least 2 years of experience within humanitarian organisations, in project cycle management and in MEAL Positions or tasks
- Fluent English mandatory, Arabic an asset
- Able to work under Windows OS.Proficiency on the basic office tools (at least Word and Excel)
- Knowledge on databases and mobile data collection systems (ODK, GRASP) would be desirable

Our remuneration package:
We offer you to join a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
Base: Beirut
- Salary: from 1700 to 2200 euros gross per month according to candidate's previous experience (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

- Up to 20% additional remuneration depending on the position?s context and responsibilities (according the grading scale set by Action Against Hunger)
- House and maintenance covered by the organization (including per diem): package estimated according to the destination.
- Travel costs to and from the mission.
- 25 working days of paid leave per year.
- Break. additional rest period, including travel cost to a reference area and economic help of 215 euros
- Health, repatriation, travel and life insurance covered by the organization.
- Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old): from 100 to 225 euros monthly (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain).
