Working within the Emergency Pool, the Emergency ADMIN/FIN/HR Coordinator is responsible for:

Running emergency administrative, financial and staffing responses and to set up administrative and financial procedures to be followed during an emergency response operation, especially those procedures defined by AECID.

Guarantee financial transparency and optimized management of the financial resources of the interventions under its responsibility.

Acts as a focal person for rapid deployment of personnel to locations where emergency operations are undertaken.

Las principales actividades que desempeñaras son las siguientes:

Objective 1: Responsible for the full administrative and financial management of the Emergency Convenio project as well as other projects that may directly manage the Emergency Pool


  • Project budget follow up
  • Procurement of goods and services
  • Treasury management
  • External audit response

Objective 2: Strategic follow up and financial planning of the Emergency Pool structure


  • Mission yearly planning and follow up
  • Financial management of the structure
  • Monitoring and Evaluation

Objective 3: Coordination from Finance of the response to mission emergencies and filling of any required gap to support a correct implementation of our activities


  • Project budget follow up
  • Financial management of the structure
  • Integration of new recruitments

Objective 4: Support in the systematization of the organization response to emergencies


  • Monitoring & Evaluation

Esta descripción encaja contigo?

  • Management, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent studies.
  • Deep knowledge of donor administrative and financial guidelines for humanitarian aid interventions. Strong knowledge of HR management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably as field administrator of emergency operations.
  • Good knowledge of surge capacity´s mechanism and/or roster system in humanitarian context. Knowledge of humanitarian principles. Knowledge of the AECID administrative and financial guidelines and procedures.
  • Previous experience in Action Against Hunger is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, French is an asset.
  • Master of MS Office. Very advanced level of Excel. Accounting packages (preferably Agresso).
  • Mobility (national/international): Depending on the missions, up to 70% of the working time
  • Availability to travel with 24/48 hours notice
  • Valuable prior experience in issues related to the promotion of gender equality or personal commitment to gender equality.

We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:

  • Work contract: 2 years
  • Based in Madrid
  • Salary: between 27.000 and 30.000 Euros gross per year.
  • 25 working days of paid leave per year.
  • Meal vouchers.
