You'll contribute to ending world hunger by ...

  • Assists the Project Officer in making sure all aspects of projects are being executed professionally and according to plans, standards and procedures.
  • Assists the Project Officer with planning, development, and following up different projects activities;
  • Assists the Project Officer in the follow-up with relevant authorities for coordination of AAH work.
  • Assists the Project Officer in the follow-up AAH implementation in the field and provide feedback.

Key activities in your role will include

  • Assist in planning, coordinating and follow-up on the projects activities
  • Compiles data from a variety of sources for the purpose of complying with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements for the projects implementation and reporting
  • Conduct monitoring field visits when required and submit monitoring reports
  • Provide any other support or activities that may be required to fulfil the projects
  • Ensure and maintain working relationships with the partners, authorities and other relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in sector meetings and represent AAH under the Project Officer request and supervision
  • Support in organizing meetings and ensure coordination and exchanges of information with staff at all levels;
  • Prepare minutes of the meeting when needed and requested
  • Follow-up on processes, documents, and materials for the purpose of disseminating information in compliance with administrative guidelines and/or regulatory requirements
  • Ensure the availability of the copies of finance and logistic documentation and preparing for the certification
  • Filling/archiving of project documents (monitoring sheets, reporting documentation, contracts, letters, meeting notes and etc.)
  • Establish proper information follow up on projects and ensure timely gathering for required information.
  • Ensure proper filing of documents
  • Responsible for the collection of documents, reports and official correspondence with local authorities and partners.
  • Observe any issues or events that may jeopardise or delay AAH interventions in the area and inform line manager
  • Translation of project documents, reports, statistics as per request

Do you meet the profile required criteria ?

  • Bachelor Degree business Adminstration, English litterateur or any related field
  • 1 years work experience in similar domain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages
  • Excellent command MS Office
  • Mobility to travel within Syria
