Action Against Hunger (AAH) South Caucasus has an opening for a full-time position for a Corporate Liaison Officer in its Tbilisi office to oversee the project Economic Participation of Internally Displaced Persons and Vulnerable Local Population in the South Caucasus, that is supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The project aims to support the increased participation and economic and social inclusion of IDPs and vulnerable host community members, by increasing their access to employment, entrepreneurial and education opportunities. Key project activities include providing business development trainings for the expansion of MSMEs; implementing employment and entrepreneurship programmes in target Municipalities using AAH´s Shuttle approach; providing non-formal vocational education opportunities and soft skills training; provision of seed and matching grants, as well as toolkits for successful project participants and implementing capacity building workshops for public stakeholders.

Key activities in your role will include

  • Contribute to positioning Action Against Hunger South Caucasus Mission as an organization that utilizes innovative approaches to promote CSR development and social inclusion of vulnerable populations;
  • Perform comprehensive mapping of companies at both regional and national level;
  • Develop an action plan for brokering with companies;
  • Broker and network with companies to facilitate their engagement in the project;
  • Position AAH as an NGO that offers strong candidates to companies for internship and employment opportunities;
  • Sign MoUs to ensure long-term collaboration with companies;
  • Manage pro-bono trainings provided by companies for Employment & Entrepreneurship Shuttle participants;
  • Support the organization of networking events and gatherings;
  • Increase the employment potential of project participants through linkages with the private sector;
  • Coordinate with Shuttle programme coaches and the project team to ensure a holistic approach to brokering;
  • Maintain and update corporate database and provide regular narrative reports;
  • Demonstrate commitment towards gender equality issues.

Do you meet the profile required criteria ?

  • University Degree in Communication and/or Social Sciences: Labor Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, External Communication, Corporate Relations, MBA, or another related field;
  • Proven experience in working on CSR, social inclusion or marketing projects for non-governmental organizations;
  • Knowledge of the specificities of the private sector in Georgia;
  • Understanding of labor market trends and HR;
  • Knowledge of marketing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Good human relations and diplomacy;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Georgian, Spanish is an Advantage;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Social Media;
  • Team player with sense of professionalism and loyalty to organization;
  • Motivated by humanitarian aims and be flexible with respect to working hours and place of work.

Our remuneration package:

  • Based in Tbilisi with regular field trips to project locations;
  • 40 hours working week; overtime required occasionally;
  • Salary range: 2905 - 3709 GEL gross (depending on candidate's experience);
  • Contract according to Georgian Labour Code;
  • Health insurance.
